The latest update from CISCE has been released for the 2024 examinations for class 12. Six chapters out of 16 are removed from the syllabus for class 12. Nearly 40% syllabus is reduced. Now students and their mentors have more time to thoroughly prepare the topics. This is a one-step toward the implementation of NEP 2020. Now our focus should be on the new exam pattern. According to NEP 2020, our examination system should be based on competency-based questions.
This is an opportunity to significantly shift our pedagogy from rote learning to competency-based learning.
The latest specimen paper introduced new questions like comprehension-based and MCQ with a new approach.
